My husband would be completely out of luck. I would tell him to buy a new pair.
However, doesn't Laura sew?
duct tape!!!! if you don't have access to a sewing machine with a zig zag stitch, fold the seam on the inside and sew it loosely, it will fall apart every three or four washings, but you did say they were your favorite shorts, right?
I have a wonderful seamstress. I'll have to find her phone number for you. I bet she could fix your shorts!
